    Stoke-on-Trent, UK

    Designed and ran the migration of several hundred terabytes across millions of media streams to object storage. Serial copying would never have finished, so the migration ran in parallel. At that scale, a threading mistake corrupts files nobody notices until someone plays one. Also led the department onto Git.

    Sheffield, UK

    A machine-learning API that scored how credible crisis reports were as they broke, with named-entity recognition pulling structure out of free text. Developed an approach that provided scaling capabilities for Formal Concept Analysis of RDF triplestore data.
